I’ve been remiss in keeping the blog here on epmguidance.com up to date for which I apologize. With some of the largest projects in my life now winding down, I can refocus on what laughing passes for normal around here. Over the last 6 months I’ve been working closely with the team at HMS on our newest product, TimeControl Project. It launched last month and I couldn’t be more proud of the work that everyone did. You can find out more about it at project.timecontrol.com. Along the same timeframe, I had to turn my attention for HMS towards a SOC II audit. We’d been working on the documentation and processes for the SOC II process for over a year but with Covid shutdowns, we hadn’t found a path forward to getting the audit complete. We did find that path in November and we’re now, at last in the final phase of that audit which I hope will be complete in the next few days.
As if that wasn’t enough, HMS turned in a record year in both revenue and profits for which I’m profoundly grateful to the entire HMS team and we were able to have our first in person meetings in late March.
Finally, also in April, I was able to get to Orlando for the first in-person speaking engagement I’d been able to do since 2019. It was with the PMBA. It went wonderfully thanks to a very generous audience.
I’ll be speaking more about upcoming speaking engagements in the next few days and I very much expect to get onto a more normal publishing schedule going forward.
Thanks to you all for your patience.
